Fun is funner than no fun.

There goes my break

My brother got Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PC for Christmas. It’s a Star Wars RPG with D20 rules. I am so addicted to it it is horrible. It’s just so much fun. It’s made by Bioware, who also made Neverwinter Nights and Balder’s Gate series. After resolving a major graphic slowdown problem, the game is totally running smooth on fairly high settings. (Finally, my card can run something at high settings!)

Yesterday, I went to Seth’s surprise birthday party at the bowling alley. Kate, Kevin, Jennie, Mike, Jeff, and Luke were also there. It was a lot of fun. I don’t think I’ve bowled for about 3 years. I got a 99 the first game and a 110 the second. I used to average like 150s. Oh well, I’d be better if I were in a league like Kevin. He bowled above 160 in both games. I just threw the ball and hoped it went straight. He had spin and stuff, pretty outrageous. Seth was throwing the ball in a quite violent fashion that was working quite well for him. Kate was taking lots of photos with her new digital camera. The goody bags had little joke toys in them. I got snapping gum and Luke got a black-eye-scope. That’s pretty good. I think it’d be wicked fun to try to trick people with that one, because they wouldn’t notice. If it was a real kaliodoscope and particularly cool, noone would really notice. Especially if you were good enough to hold it just away from your eye.

But honestly, KOTOR is eating my life. I better beat it soon. (I’m not going to, it’s a Bioware game and I’m only 11 hours in. My Balder’s Gate 1 save boasted more than 65 hours).
