Vacation’s almost over

Feb 27 05 | 7:48 pm

It’s really not good, I have a bunch of homework to do today.

Normally I get kind of sick of vacation towards the end of it, but not this time. It’s probably because I went skiing earlier this week and so it’s only like I’ve been on break for like four days. Also probably because I’ve been working on my web game and it’s really been amusing me. I’m learning a lot of PHP and the game ought to take fairly long. Don’t expect it to launch for at least a month, though. Then again, you can’t really expect anything, now can you?

And freaking SATs are in two weeks and noone has taught me anything about what the essay section wants.

  4. I have a book on them too, I just don’t really feel like reading it. I just need to know what they want and then softball pitch it to them.

Which unfortunantly means reading that SAT book.

  5. Hahaha softball pitch it to them. What a great metaphor.

  7. BTW Greg, I call beta-testing your game. It better be open source, so I can learn php.

  8. PHP is inherently closed source because it all gets processed by the server before you can see any of it.

This is good because you won’t be able to cheat by viewing the source. Once the game is over, I’ll release it all for your educational benefit.

  9. And there will be no beta testing. Just expect it to be full of ‘features’
