Tennis in the Elements

Justin says, “This is the weirdest weather. I’m coming home on the bus, and it’s just an average, overcast day. About 55 or 60 degrees or so, nothing special. I get home, and 10 minutes later, it’s pouring. It ddid that for about 10 minutes, and then it cleared up. 5 minutes later (now), it’s really, really sunny. And just now, I heard a long roll of thunder. The sky looks beautiful out my window to the left, and it’s disgusting out my window to the right. And now I just heard another thunder rumble. And it’s starting to get dark again…”
…and we played tennis right through it. It was so crazy. Joe and I won the first set of our defensive challenge match 7-5. Home match tomorrow.
Tonite is AP World study night. I’ll get my stuff in order and prepare for it and make flow charts and things of that nature. Gotta do Stats this weekend, and then I’ll be set till after those two exams, when I will start the Bio studying.
I got my confirmation for the WPI Frontiers program this summer. The description of the math program I’m doing is totally sweet and I can’t wait to go. “Learn how a mix of classical mathematics and modern technology can be used to solve current problems and open up new areas. Use this background to examine encryption of numbers on the Internet via the RSA Algorithm, and analysis of human voice patterns and musical instruments through Fourier Methods. Specific problems of current information technology that these address include the need for secure transmission of data, such as your credit card number over the Internet, voice-print technology, and storage and use of music in digital format (WAV vs. MP3 files, for example).” That will be a fun two weeks, especially as I won’t have to give up my technology when I go, unlike 4H (which is totally awesome for different reasons).
Tennis Match Tuesday: 17 people in a 16 person van to Southington. Hermes was on a bucket in the aisle of the van, and all the bags were stacked up in the back. It was crazy.
Tennis Practice today: We play tennis despite thunder and rain and freezing rain. It was crazy, and a total blast. My hoodie was all full of air when I unzipped it and the rain was all collecting in my hair. I love being outside in the rain, as long as I don’t get sick.

This is gostats resetting my counter entirely. I was planning on scrapping them anyway, they do a bad job counting anyways.
I choose Buddhism. Google confirms.
