The End of Summer

The LINK Crew orientation was yesterday. I was surprised how smoothly everything went. We did a big thing in the gym with everyone, and we met a lot of people. One of the things we did was saying stuff we did this summer, so one of the kids said he did an MCC Java course after I probed it out of him. I want to recruit him for robot. We could use a couple bitheads. My group was particularly well behaved when we split off. It was a relatively fun time.
Today my parents had a part for a bunch of their friends, most of whom are family friends. Chris and I walked around offering people food, which was funny because we were pretty under-dressed. Everyone kept asking us how much we were getting paid to be such good hosts (answer: nothing). Once all the adults got a few drinks in them, things got a bit loud. Chris and I had a long talk with Mr. Lanza about technology and investing and such. It was pretty interesting. The party started to wind down and Chris and I helped clean up.
Chris, Pete, me and Pelan did a Skype conference call, and it worked quite well. Much better than Google Talk would have, because it doesn’t support conference calls. Pelan and Chris were having some mic issues; we’re ordering an Audio 90 soon.
I’m going to look hot in my LINK Crew shirt on the first day of school.
I believe my mom and dad were there.
