…how I already miss thee.

Today was the first day of school, and I am not digging it. I’m at the point in my life where I’ve figured out more or less what my interests are. Having to sit through classes that do nothing to address my interests every day is quite painful. I hope Physics tomorrow is good, but Social Studies and English I’m starting to lose interest in. Calc seems good too. Spanish I need to re-learn all of the tenses so I can actually speak it.

I got two Civics books (that I need every day…) and a Calc book today; I think I’m going to get back cancer from carrying around so much weight. Already, homework from four classes (that’s all the ones I had today) on the first day. Luckily my schedule throws at least two studies at me every day, so I will be able to keep up.

I really would just rather be doing math team or robot or this science olympiad thing Mrs. Belval tells me about than learning about how a bill becomes a law. I saw Mr. Mo and Pelan and Melough today, and we’re all already excited to get back into robot. That sounds like a lot more fun than making graphic organizers about civics…
