A Bad Assembly

Today was the Freshman Field Day, which got me out of all my classes except Civics, in which I took a test where I wished I had memorized more dates. I hate memorizing dates, but what can you do?
Part of the Freshman Field Day was the “Making High School Count” assembly we had last year. The same woman gave about the same presentation, and it was extremely boring to hear again. I imagine it would have been interesting if I hadn’t heard it, but all the Freshman were talking the whole time, and even when I told them to be quiet they weren’t. (Note: How come kids always get put in psuedo-leadership positions that are expected to control other people, but don’t have the ability to discipline in any way?)
Also part of the Field Day was watching an episode of the Simpsons. It was the episode where Sideshow Bob frames Krusty for robbing the Kwik-E-Mart. The Simpsons is about a thousand times funnier in school than at home. Plus, some of the stuff you laugh at, you feel bad laughing at in front of these other people you don’t really know. Interesting experience.
heh…like when i laughed at the “indian convenient store owner” before realizing i was sittin next to an indian girl
