Going well

I sent in my first college application on Tuesday. I suggested having a party on December 15th for when we all get our Early (Action/Decision) notifications back, but Colby suggested that would really suck for us if we didn’t get in. I’m going to see Wicked that night at the Bushnell, so I think how much I like it will be influenced by the mail that day.

Friday night was me, Rachel, Keith, and Caitlin hitting up the town. Moe’s in Evergreen for dinner, then bowling at the now-swankified Vernon Lanes. (PS, there’s a bug in the way the scoring system works. Bowl a slow gutterball then trip the foul buzzer. By the time your ball gets back, it decides you got a strike. 300, anyone?) Then we visited Mike’s car and left him a $500 ticket. Then we went to Keith’s and watched marching band videos of me doing playtests as a freshman. It was fun.

Tonite I went to Monica’s house for a costume party. I was going to wear an orange shirt that said “I am a pumpkin.” but the iron-on wasn’t working. So I wore my great-uncle’s WWII army uniform. Kevin was wearing Kate’s grandfathers WWII navy uniform, so it was coincidental. The party was very fun, and we played Cranium and Taboo.

Observation: Overall blogging by peers has fallen dramatically. This is not a bad thing.
