Skiing

or, “I Less Than Three Exothermic Reactions”
Yesterday, my family and I went up the what I thought was New Hampshire, but turned out to be Vermont in order to go skiing. We visited a lot of people that we knew were up there, including neighbors of various forms, and friends of my parents. It was quite exciting to see everyone’s places up there. I decided though: I will never live in Vermont full time. Then today we went skiing with about 4 other parties we knew. The only problem? After wind chill it was -10 degrees Farenheit. We stopped at the summit lodge and got hand and toe warmers, and they saved the day.
In other news, some of our friends from South Windsor were on HGTV today. I only caught the tail end of the episode, but the website says I can watch it next Sunday. Erin had mentioned this at the beginning of the year in English class, but finally it airs! I wish I was a celebrity.
Also worth noting: The most amazing Spanish studying application ever has been released! Hosted nowhere else but twoplustwoequalsfive.com, Flashcards is the ultimate combination of HTML, AJAX, CSS, and Javascript (actually, there’s no AJAX. There should be, though…). Seriously, if you’re in Spanish V 4, check it out. It will knock your socks off and then put them back on for you.
Is this close enought to AJAX?

Yea, that’s more DHTML. I did something like that that about three years ago (use IE), before AJAX was even invented. The key thing that makes AJAX AJAX is the fact that it gets information from the server in real time. For instance, the top page of my site uses AJAX to update the image and bottom quote if you click on the words “twoplustwo”.
