I Want a Divorce!

Some of you may have siblings. I guess most people get along horribly with their siblings. People often marvel at Chris and me and how well we get along. For fifteen years, my brother and I have lived together unusually well. Some bizarre twist of genetic recombination has given us the same general interests, and an unusual sense of patience. People often remark that when they listen to us talk, it sounds like we’re speaking a different language. It’s not some made up twin language, it’s usually just us geeking out over new Mac products.
Basically, over the last decade, we have accumulated a veritable trove of electronics. Everything from Game Boys to N64s to iPods to LCD monitors. And they have lived in harmony, shared between their two benevolent owners like timeshare properties, only with less infomercials.
But now comes the end of that peaceful period. With me leaving for college in a few months, a cold war is ramping up. The big prizes are the 19″ LCD and the external hard disk, but which iPod goes where and the fate of various other small things is no means certain, either. Some people would argue that as the older sibling, I should get first dibs on everything. I personally think we should toss everything in a pile and draft. Chris, however, assures me that the best solution is simply for him to hand pick everything he wants and then to generously bestow upon me the unselected wares.
Anyone know a good divorce lawyer?
