A Busy Weekend (and I get famous again)

This weekend was pretty sweet. Friday night was a party at Jackie’s with her brother, Jenn, and DDR. Saturday was library for thesis, the Ashlee Sam concert, Mr. SWHS, and then DDR at my house. Mr. SWHS was amazingly well done. It was THE most entertaining thing I have ever seen at the high school. Seriously, it was amazing. I wanted Keith to win, but Dave’s talent act was amazing.
Sunday I drove up to Olin to meet with Jessi to go to the Olin Commencement. It was really cool. The speeches everyone gave totally reinforced everything I love about the school. The people are amazing, and we are all working towards the same fundamental ideals. It was very motivating. I also am extremely in debt to the Class of 2006, because without them I would be going to school somewhere much less cool next year. It was fun to have people recognize me, and also fun to answer the question “What the heck are you doing here?” Ugh, a month of school left, but under a hundred days until college!
Also, continuing my streak of appearing in the national media, I am featured in this month’s issue of Cosmo Girl. Seriously, I’m not kidding. Thanks, Becca (and Julie). Bust out your June/July issue (I know you have one - it’s ok, I won’t tell your friends) and hit up page 80. I totally win, because I mention Jon Stewart and ice cream in the same sentence, which got published in a magazine tons of tweens read. Yea, man, click it.
Did you seriously exclamation-point (yes, it’s a verb) the end of that sentence? I’m afraid that I have now lost all respect for you…
Notes will be up soon… you’ll all be blown away!
